I saw it yesterday.

The best way to experience the movie is to see the original first and turn off your brain, but even at that it's still a dopey under-plotted effects-driven disaster (though well done the effects are.)

It's pretty much a sequel made for fanboys of the first film's action sequences and for people who love to waste their time jacking to Megan Fox's body.

I also don't know why it was so long. In fact, it's six minutes longer than the original! (Eight for the IMAX ...

Good news and bad news.

Good news: Tomorrow's Christmas!!

Bad news: Disney has sent us a rotten Christmas present.

Disney has decided to step out of producing Voyage of the Dawn Treader because of "budgetary and logical reasons", so Walden Media are now searching for a new backer for the third film, assumingly 20th Century Fox might be the one's who will pick it up cause they are desperate, and I mean, DESPERATE for big bucks after the failures and under-performances of ...

If anyone here has seen the movie Shocker, go ahead and post your thoughts on the film but if anyone here hasn't. The film is about a serial killer named Horace Pinker who survives the electric chair and as a spirit, he intends on killing his son and everyone who stands in his way. If anyone wants to see it, well, somebody posted the whole film on YouTube so here it is.

I never read the books, so who knows if the film version of "Twillight" follows the book? But as of now, it's just being overhyped to death. Seriously, it isn't even out yet neither have any of us seen it, and there's rabid fangirls who are just getting inpatient for a piece of Robert Pattinson's looks.

Not only this, but there are people who are, literally, trying to die or just dying for Pattinson. there's people passing out, there's people clawing their way for tickets, there's ...

Live Action Adaptations of Cartoons: My Thoughts

If there is one thing that angers me the most, it's when someone says that a movie "raped their childhood" I honestly cannot stand that about people. Especially when it comes to movies based on cartoons or anime.

It seems to me, all they really care about is making sure that the characters look EXACTLY like their cartoon counterparts.

WTF...doesn't anyone watch a movie for it's STORY? Since when did making sure the characters look like the cartoons become a huge factor of ...

Yeah I know, Halloween has come and gone, but I had been watching a few "horror" films just to get into the mood of the holiday. Here are some that I've seen which I thought of.

The Omen--No I'm not talking about the remake or the sequels, but the original one as shot by Richard Donner. This superbly scary story about a couple who unknowingly adopts a child from hell (literally) is amplified by Jerry Goldsmith's haunting score. Some of my favorite scenes include the moment ...

I've seen "Chihuahua" two weeks ago, to be fair, it's okay. It's not the big disaster everyone (including I) was expecting, it's okay, It's just not very compelling and there's not much sympathy for Chloe for me, although I did like El Diablo (voiced surprisingly by Ed James Olmos) and I liked a short scene where Chloe's friends back in Beverly Hills, in the middle of her adventures in Mexico, are having a birthday party with dogs on slip-n-slides and jumping in swimming pools and stuff ...

I've seen Eagle Eye yesterday, and I wish I didn't.

The plot was a confusing trainwreck, there's no 'chemistry' between LaBeouf and Monaghan, and the action scenes were edited and shot like if a guy with one arm and hand got a hold of the camera and Edward Scissorhands (who would be on drugs) cut the movie. Not to mention 70% of the movie was pure destruction and explosions and stuff like that.

This film was executive produced by Steven Spielberg, though I think his name might have ...

Hey guys, this is YTPGod here. I was planning to do the July / August movie reviews on YouTube, but like Animated93, I gave up on doing July and August cause it was hard to come up with thoughts on The Dark Knight while many people are saying the same opinion though on the previous movie review show I survived reviewing WALL-E. So I thought with the Animated93 Fourms up, I'd thought i'd do my movie reviews on here (not including Starscream at the Movies) cause it was easier for me to write my ...

I've just seen "Tropic Thunder" this week, and to put it short, it was pretty good. The comedy was great, the action scenes were fun, and the "The Fattys" and "Simple Jack" scenes almost put me to tears.

Though I felt Robert Downey Jr. was great, I just find his accent to be hard to understand. I think it's supposed to be not understandable, but whatever, I was just more focused in the Hollywood parodies and the goofy adventure these guys were put in.

So ...

Anyway, the first film in my series of reviews is what I believe to be is a Cult Classic film called Revenge of the Nerds. Now for those who don't know the film, Revenge of the Nerds is about two nerds named Louis and Gilbert, who set off in their greatest adventure: College.
